The much maligned Shadowrun is now officially gold, and will be released at the end of the month on both Xbox 360 and PC. It will be the first time outside the MMORPG genre that PC and 360 gamers will be able to share the same game world, and fight against each other. 5 images inside.

I'm tempted- a LOT- but with Forza 2 on every desktop I own... my budget is dictated and spent!

I don't think cheats are going to be a problem, as the 360 would most definitely catch any altered or foreign files, but without a mouse and keyboard 360 players are dead meat against a seasoned PC player.
It might be fun, but if I want to win a match without it being totally based on luck, I'd play on the PC.
It would be like The Incredible Hulk picking a fight with a Down's Syndrome kid.
By the way you DO NOT have to play against pc players..You still have the option to play against x360 players only! Get your information before you write senseless b/s!
Cheers
Even if they limit PC players to balance the game (i.e. by locking mousesensitivity at the same low speed as that of a controller) my bet is skilled PC players will still own the Xbox 360 players.. Only thing is, I doubt many skilled PC FPS gamers will play this game because there's plenty of other (dare I say better) competitive online MP FPS games on the PC.. It's good that MS tries it though, consoles v PC is a innovation I've always wanted to see how it worked out..
If any game needs it, it's this one.
I've not heard great things about the PC version though, the reviews may be interesting. I'm keen to try it out on a console for sure.

BTW: Why was my post "moved" to this bulletin thing?
Was the beta even open to PC gamers?
But like I said, you won't see a lot of PC players in this game on crossplatform servers anyway.. The reasons why are obvious.. Limited controlability (to balance gameplay with consolegamers), and *requires* Windows Vista and a paid Live Gold account.. This will bassicly be a pure Xbox 360 game with only a couple of PC players in it who are lost or just curious how this crossplatform thing works..
