Yea- what happened to the demo we were promised? Is it going to be one of those- game first- demo second things?
I'm tempted- a LOT- but with Forza 2 on every desktop I own... my budget is dictated and spent!
I can only assume its a result of the art style, but I HATE the 'look' of this game.
I don't think cheats are going to be a problem, as the 360 would most definitely catch any altered or foreign files, but without a mouse and keyboard 360 players are dead meat against a seasoned PC player.
It might be fun, but if I want to win a match without it being totally based on luck, I'd play on the PC.
It would be like The Incredible Hulk picking a fight with a Down's Syndrome kid.
You`ve got NO idea what you are talking about! You can read all over the internet that the game is balanced and that you won`t be able to tell wether you`re playing against a console or pc player!
Even if they limit PC players to balance the game (i.e. by locking mousesensitivity at the same low speed as that of a controller) my bet is skilled PC players will still own the Xbox 360 players.. Only thing is, I doubt many skilled PC FPS gamers will play this game because there's plenty of other (dare I say better) competitive online MP FPS games on the PC.. It's good that MS tries it though, consoles v PC is a innovation I've always wanted to see how it worked out..
If any game needs it, it's this one.
I've not heard great things about the PC version though, the reviews may be interesting. I'm keen to try it out on a console for sure.
I see some people still buy into PR bullshit..

BTW: Why was my post "moved" to this bulletin thing?
I enjoyed the beta but the full price for just a multi player game put me off. Oh well guess the demo will do me fine enough :(

Ive spoken directly with 5 or so people on the BETA and they couldnt tell who was playing pc or 360
Was the beta even open to PC gamers?
But like I said, you won't see a lot of PC players in this game on crossplatform servers anyway.. The reasons why are obvious.. Limited controlability (to balance gameplay with consolegamers), and *requires* Windows Vista and a paid Live Gold account.. This will bassicly be a pure Xbox 360 game with only a couple of PC players in it who are lost or just curious how this crossplatform thing works..
