Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks has unveiled the codename of their project: Zwei. Resident Evil creator goes back to the survival horror genre with this game in development. Along with the codename, a piece of art showing environments has been released but it's not intended to give any hints at what is in the game. Bethesda Softworks will publish the game but no date, no platforms announced yet.
Bethesda Softworks is pleased to announce that Tango Gameworks and director Shinji Mikami are working on a ‘survival horror’ game under the codename ‘Zwei’.
As a master of the ‘survival horror’ genre, Shinji Mikami is committed to making a game that is the realization of *pure* survival horror, an experience which he defines as one that pushes the limits of fear and exhilaration. He and his team at Tango are committed to attaining this vision.
“A true ‘survival horror’ game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,” says Shinji Mikami, president and creative director for Tango Gameworks. “I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.”
Problem with WD is...i am fearing that it will be Assassin's Creed set in modern time. In fact..i'll be surprised if its not. (3 minutes ago)
@Sdarts: GTA Vmay not be the best looking, but damn..kudos to the dev. Cause at times it could almost be a current-gen game with some of those awesome effects and details. (4 minutes ago)

If the game ia great like a FC3, GTA V, DS, RDR and etc, then I will gladly pay US$ 60 for it. Be it a technology demo or a last generation looking game. (48 minutes ago)
Was it beautiful when first shown, yes, but so was Far Cry 3 and I have had more fun with it than with any Battlefield I ever played. (50 minutes ago)
Guys, GTA V and DS aren't the best looking games out there, but no one cares because what's important is having fun while playing them. I personally am more interested in WD for the gameplay and story (52 minutes ago)
That is true. i saw the game during Gamescom at Ubi's and framerate was far from ok, plenty of pop up indeed, tearing, and aliasing too. Ah well..maybe the game is still fun tho. (1 Hour ago)
