Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks has unveiled the codename of their project: Zwei. Resident Evil creator goes back to the survival horror genre with this game in development. Along with the codename, a piece of art showing environments has been released but it's not intended to give any hints at what is in the game. Bethesda Softworks will publish the game but no date, no platforms announced yet.
Bethesda Softworks is pleased to announce that Tango Gameworks and director Shinji Mikami are working on a ‘survival horror’ game under the codename ‘Zwei’.
As a master of the ‘survival horror’ genre, Shinji Mikami is committed to making a game that is the realization of *pure* survival horror, an experience which he defines as one that pushes the limits of fear and exhilaration. He and his team at Tango are committed to attaining this vision.
“A true ‘survival horror’ game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,” says Shinji Mikami, president and creative director for Tango Gameworks. “I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.”
The BF1 interface is literally the same thing. The only difference is you load a huge client to reach the UI instead of clicking on a bookmark. Guess which one is faster? (18 Hours ago)
And the like.. primary complaint that people had about Battlelog on PC was the plugin. It doesn't use a plugin anymore. (18 Hours ago)
I like being able to take stock of my favorites in a manner of seconds. And I don't need to load the client until I find a game I want to play. (18 Hours ago)
Yea, really. It's much faster than loading a beast of a client just to look at a server browser or join a queue. Why would I want to waste time and resources before I actually need to *play*? (18 Hours ago)
@GriftGFX: Really? I was never a fan of launching the game through a web browser. The stats and everything else i was okay with. (18 Hours ago)
Why do I want to load a huge game client just to check my favorites? Just to wait in queue? It doesn't make sense. (18 Hours ago)
I'm scared of the new Battlefield UI. I think Battlelog works pretty great on PC and I'm worried that it'll have a negative impact on the population. (18 Hours ago)
