Shinji Mikami's studio Tango Gameworks has unveiled the codename of their project: Zwei. Resident Evil creator goes back to the survival horror genre with this game in development. Along with the codename, a piece of art showing environments has been released but it's not intended to give any hints at what is in the game. Bethesda Softworks will publish the game but no date, no platforms announced yet.
Bethesda Softworks is pleased to announce that Tango Gameworks and director Shinji Mikami are working on a ‘survival horror’ game under the codename ‘Zwei’.
As a master of the ‘survival horror’ genre, Shinji Mikami is committed to making a game that is the realization of *pure* survival horror, an experience which he defines as one that pushes the limits of fear and exhilaration. He and his team at Tango are committed to attaining this vision.
“A true ‘survival horror’ game is one in which the player confronts and overcomes fear,” says Shinji Mikami, president and creative director for Tango Gameworks. “I've found my focus and once again I'm striving for pure survival horror. I am being very hands-on in the development of this game to ensure that the quality is there. Rest assured.”
Love Platinum Games' titles, but that is so bad that I can't help but feeling they just wanted Activison's money, since that will be a shameful mark on their portfolio. Looks like a bad PS2-era game. (1 Hour ago)
@Seth: Thanks for the Legend of Korra gameplay video, hard to imagine that pile of shit is a game from Platinum Games. Bland visuals and boring gameplay, has Actvision written all over it. (2 Hours ago)
An hour is probably closer to the average for a headliner. Closer than two. (2 Hours ago)
@Moonwalker: Two hours is a long ass set dude. (2 Hours ago)
Gang Starr performed for a full two hours, so did Cypress Hill and Wu Tang. 100% your money's worth. (3 Hours ago)
