Let sleeping dogs lie. Just kidding, I am interested in seeing how this game develops.

Nice trailer. This is going to be a seriously violent game. Given United Front Games' collective development pedigree, this should be fun; even if graphically it does not stand up to most current titles. I can't wait.

interesting, but they need to release this ASAP before GTA5 releases or more info are revealed

Whoah, those violent takedowns were on the levels of Manhunt or Punisher. A bit too much.

It looks like an awesome game. All the game-play videos I watched so far though, suffer from screen tearing - I do hope that this will be fixed before they release it. Great visuals too.

Wow. Batman meets GTA meets the Punisher. Interesting concept, but it looks like it could definitely work. Got me interested. Anyone know the story and structure? Are you playing a good guy like True Crime, or a criminal like GTA? Is it full open world, or linear with open sections?

*Edit*
Ha, I feel like an idiot.....Didn't realize this actually WAS a True Crime game. Looks like they definitely have improved the formula at least......

I was thinking more "punisher" then manhunt. Manhunt seemed a bit more considered, slower, hence more brutal. You where actively trying to do the most violent, cringe worthy kills. This looks like quick, punisher like finishers, more comic book, less shocking....

Still think the game is looking a bit ropey tho...city looks nice enough, but the gameplay i've seen looks clunky to say the least.

Jeez, some of those take downs are just brutal. Can't wait to see Fox News rally against this one.

The other enemies just stand there and watch while waiting for you to finish your current foe.

In incredibly grisly fashion. You'd think they would high-tail it out of there if the protagonist is that psycho with his takedowns.

One of the reasons i hate ass creed. They just queue up for the slaughter, despite easily having enough guys there to over power you. Batman got this right imo. Not a cluster fuck, but multiple enemies constantly attacking and having the moves at your disposal to take them all on effectively.

One of the best game hand to hand combat Ive seen. I will get it only for this. :-) Thats how future fighting games like Tekken or Street Fighter should look like.

Considering the history of this, I cannot believe how excited anyone is. Curb your excitement folks. It could be good, but it has an extremely rough dev history, so don't be surprised if it's a steaming pile of shit. The original project looked neat too.
Animations look real rough to me, kinda overly smooth in some ways, but also kinda mechanical. I'm sure it being mostly in slow motion doesn't help but still.

Shenmue is dead dude, get over it! I bet people who made the game are no longer even in the video gaming industry. The team disbanded, the vision lost and a creator who is no longer interested in making games. Time to let go and move the fuck on

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The BF1 interface is literally the same thing. The only difference is you load a huge client to reach the UI instead of clicking on a bookmark. Guess which one is faster? (5 Hours ago)

GriftGFX And the like.. primary complaint that people had about Battlelog on PC was the plugin. It doesn't use a plugin anymore. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I like being able to take stock of my favorites in a manner of seconds. And I don't need to load the client until I find a game I want to play. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Yea, really. It's much faster than loading a beast of a client just to look at a server browser or join a queue. Why would I want to waste time and resources before I actually need to *play*? (5 Hours ago)
  • MikeManiac61
MikeManiac61 @GriftGFX: Really? I was never a fan of launching the game through a web browser. The stats and everything else i was okay with. (5 Hours ago)

GriftGFX Why do I want to load a huge game client just to check my favorites? Just to wait in queue? It doesn't make sense. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I'm scared of the new Battlefield UI. I think Battlelog works pretty great on PC and I'm worried that it'll have a negative impact on the population. (6 Hours ago)
