For me the biggest attraction is the hand-to-hand combat. If its so well done like in videos, then its gonna be great! I always missed this deeper hand-to-hand combat in open world games. I hope its gonna be something similar to Batman combat system.

Whether the game's good or not, that's a darn impressive cast.

Activision is so going to regret their decision. But that's okay for me. XD

I don't think they will. I think this is going to tank personally. Which will just show that acti where right to abandon ship. Still shitty how acti pretty much dont publish anything outside of COD and movie license games tho.

I'm actually really impressed with the title so far. Biggest surprise of the year for me. It doesn't look like one of those games you will invest 100 hours in because you are deep in the story, but if the gameplay is as fun as it looks, it could have the Just Cause 2 effect and make me not care.

I'm also really surprised how well it looks graphically. The color palette, effects, and art style are all really well done, and really gives the feeling of being in Hong Kong. Love the fact they went a little more mature with the combat. I've always wanted a game with Batman style combat but a little more brutal results. I'm keeping my expectations rather low, but I think this could be a sleeper hit...

Actually, I wouldn't mind if the cast was famous or not. It's all about the delivery.

(and secretly, I'd love a Cantonese language option to make it more atmospheric!)

hmmm it will take a few more days to formulate my thoughts around the video ... initially I'm not sure what they are trying to pull other than tell me "Hey I'm Squ'nix and I am spending money on brand name voice acting for this GTA style game ... "

I was more impressed when I didn't know, so now I'm thinking - gimmick

Can't wait! I was so bummed when Activision decided to cancel it.

it just seems so much bigger now with that cast.

About the game

GriftGFX That's all I'm saying. In home streaming seems like a better value than having a dedicated TV-PC. (6 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX If you buy a Steam Machine.. especially a high end Steam Machine. You are buying a powerful PC. You're just crippling it by putting it in the living room and installing linux on it. (15 minutes ago)

amerakindesi anyways it was nice jabbing with you again grift, I'm gonna go watch an episode of TWD and then hit the sack (15 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX If you buy a Steam Machine you are already buying a PC. If you put it into a desktop instead of putting it under your television, it can do more stuff. And it can still do the console thing. Win-win. (15 minutes ago)
  • amerakindesi
amerakindesi the concept just isn't right. why does anyone need a powerful pc. they have their smartphones and tablets. (20 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX You can put that same hardware in a desktop environment and get more use out of it.. and still get a console experience on the side. It just seems more practical than buying a dedicated PC for the TV. (21 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX That's more versatile than a Steam Machine will ever be. I just don't really see the benefit in owning a HTPC anymore. (23 minutes ago)
