After the dirty first screenshots of Highlander, leaked out of a modelisation software, SCI and Widescreen Games now release three superb bullshots, leaked out of Photoshop. Hmm.
Lambert is the best Highlander ever, the first one is godlike!
As a game...it could be great thats for sure. But let's face it, how many sword type games kind of fail on animnation, attack detection...etc.?
Ninja Gaiden and DMC being from japanese makers that is just given to be good.
God of War is the only western game I can think of that has done very great job animation, attacks...etc.
If this game does what NG, DMC and God of War has done, being very very cool in gameplay it can turn out very cool.
I love the second image were he is jumping torwards the chopper, looks bad ass!
I will wait and see how this turns out...just need gameplay footage.

DMC and NG are action games, not sword fighting simulators. Highlander will quite likely be an action title as well. Western game developers aren't exactly flooding us with great third person melee action games, which is what i think Sath meant.
As for these shots they kind of remind me of Jericho. I guess it looks nice though it's obviously prettied up or rendered with hot fx that we won't see in the final product.
They should just make a Die by the Sword sequel and then just slap a Highlander motif to it, similar to what they did with Sea Dogs 2 aka Pirates of the Caribbean. It'd probably be a better game that whatever they're planning to cook up here and it would certainly sell more copies than a "Die by the Sword 2" would.
