How is it possible, in this gen, that a fighting game (which is focused on one stage and only 2 characters) has so terrible textures? Look at the "sheep" stage, dont care about the sheep itself, but the ground texture is really low res! Im a huge fan of Tekken, but the series is stuck. This customising gay approach is not gonna save it.

Look good^_^ for fighting game and great character model.But some texture is terrible.Especially it's Yoshimitsu cloth because it's look stretch. Oh my god the last picture it's remind me to motal kombat in fatality mode hehe n__n

Also remember that when playing the game will never look like this, you won't notice the somewhat low texture resolutions or polycounts, the camera will be too far away from the characters and the game will be moving too fast.

Nha, The game looks way better in motion(video) than in stills, it's gonna be a good iteration.

The facial expressions suck, the lightning is way off, the textures are poor, and everything looks a bit low poly...

For a fighting game, I think its fair to say that it does look bad.

I allways found TEKKEN's gameplay too slow and not beeing able to do anything against a 2-minute-eddy-gurdo-c-c-combo really doesn't make it any better.

P.S. WHAT THE CHRIST is the purpose of the last pic? Getting rid of potential customers?!

Redneck: if you get pwned by someone mashing out Eddy moves you suck too much to tell whether it's slow or not. Just parry a low or interrupt.

Kind of hard to do when trundeling through the air performing countless "Salto Mortales".

Redneck: Not particularly hard at all. Just wait until you have frame advantage, and dish out a fast mid to interrupt or sidestep and punish. Or even better, just keep pestering the other player that he may not start swinging around :)

Screens are kind of redundant but it's still Tekken and still satisfying to play no doubt.

Oh and on a side note, if you think you "prolly suck in tekken" you do ;)

SF4 is probably one of the most well done fighters currently graphic-wise.
There is nothing wrong with the faces in that or in this game from what I can tell, unless you're anal retentive.

Also textures in the environment are pretty bad I must agree, and characters should be a bit better, but I think this game looks fantastic in motion.
I've never been a big fan of the Tekken series but this one looks really nice. A lot of new modes that I could care less about, but I like where the engine has gone from videos I've seen. I would say the revamps to the engine they've made have taken most of their time away from graphics.

Funny, very funny. See it moving. All the partial blur will blow your mind and won't make you pay attention to the already great looking graphics.

Judging from that Cyborg chick's part.. I'm guessing about some kind of special move cutscene thing per character.

i dont deny SF4 is an awesome looking fighter (although it could have been a damn sight better too), but those faces, with the rediculous expressions with their tongues and eyes popping out, it looks beyond crap...looks like namco is taking a page out of SF's book in that regard.
