Sonic Riders images

Sega released the following 10 images of their upcoming smash hit, Sonic Riders. I'm sure they will succeed in outselling Shadow The Hedgehog, but that should hopefully be it.

Looks fun enough, texture res looks a little psp though. Seems weird looking at xbox stuff after trawling through so many 360 pix. Does anyone know when the sonic (360) grass roots style is coming out?

urgh looks like N64. i hate when devs just piss on systems sometimes.

this graphic is really ugly if you think of top graphics like halo 2 or pgr 2...
but looks funny

Solid 60fps F-Zero GX-ness and the graphics don't appear at all that poor anymore. It's developed first and foremost for Gamecube, mind, and it looks very slick in motion. Hopefully they sort the catch-up stuff so it's not too forgiving, and this should be really cool.

It looks fun and colorful, like every Sonic's games.

Those are definetly PSP screens, unless they downgraded the graphics to PSP level for all systems.

textures are just way too downgraded, it has to be PSP pics

sonic trickstlye! yeah, textures and stuff don't look good, but screen res isn't psp's 480x272. the earlier video looked better.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I'm not saying it's impossible that another developer would want to do it and would do it justice. That's just rarely the case when a franchise changes hands. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And some of them work at Arkane, so I guess that makes sense. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And that's a pretty baseless statement. Just paging through Mobygames, most of the Half Life 2 staff still works at Valve. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX They've lost SOME of their key staff. Staff that they can replace as easily as farming out the game to some third party. (1 Hour ago)

alimokrane Good interview with Phil Harrison: [url] (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog so why does it matter if they make the next one or not? it's like people being excited about rare making a new perfect dark when the people who made perfect dark 1 on the N64 are long gone. (2 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and the mention of brands being popular is ironic seeing as that's all dev studio's are. valve today is nothing like valve when half life was being made. they've lost all of their key staff. (2 Hours ago)
