This is the Starcraft artstyle. Starcraft was a Warhammer game that was scratched and made into an "original" game.
The Warhammer design is far, far better if you ask me. Not because of any skill difference between artists but because Starcraft has always been an RTS. Not a lot of space to put a ton of detail. Warhammer however has always had a place for more detailed characters, one way or another.

Well I never liked Warhammer look so much.
Starcraft was more my type interms of artstyle and settings...and I am just going by Starcraft 2 CGI cinematics.

Aren't they one and the same. Wasn't starcraft's initial art style a copy of warhammer 40k. I will say I hate the cartoony look that games have been following. They should have made it look more like the drawings.

GriftGFX @MrWhite: No, not really. There are loads of examples of games with microtransactions that don't influence the game design or pollute the basic user experience. (6 Hours ago)

MrWhite Could you imagine back when arena shooters like Q3A were very popular, and the cunts introduced pay to win bollocks like EA, 2k, Activision et al are doing? Imagine what that would have done. (8 Hours ago)

MrWhite meanwhile on the other end, some kid who just bought the game is playing as Wigan, but they're playing like Real Madrid and giving your superstars a tanking. Time to dip into your pocket to buy packs (8 Hours ago)

MrWhite Online play is so heavily scripted, your team inexplicably feels like a bunch of fat pub players in a sunday league side, and you're supposed to be in control of world class athletes (8 Hours ago)
