Well, the animations look nice :) I think I'm glad they're not 720p heh..

Is this a grid based strat-rpg? What platforms were the original Spectral Force games on..and uhh..who is developing this?

it looks like a strategy jrpg (similar to final fantasy tactics), but i think we will never see this released in usa or europe...

We've received quite a large number of these types in the US, so I won't discount it, however the chances are probably minimal on this one for quite some time.

I don't know what's horrible about these screens? They look nice. The game is in anime style. Anime are not suppose look real.

FFT (the original not the kiddie mess for the GBA) is my second favorite RPG. I'd hope this would be similar but it probably won't ever come to the US.

I think it's the super-low-res textures turning people off...I have the same complaint about the FFXI beta--it seems like they're using ancient assets in that game--but atleast they can use the excuse that it's a port of a game from 2002(?)

Still doesn't mean it will be a bad game, of course..likewise..I'm really enjoying FFXI despite it's visual drawbacks. I never got to play the game back in it's prime, and I find that it's really quite an achievement considering it's age and what platforms it launched on..neat game..but I'm just getting way OT.

I love SRPG games. I doubt we'll ever see one--but I think it'd be quite cool if Lucasarts did a sequel to Gladius one day..there's a sleeper.

I guess we can only be so picky if it's the only SRPG on the system.

I can't say anything about how good the game is, but come on, there's no defending those in-game graphics. The "anime isn't supposed to look real" argument doesn't work when games like Dragon Quest 8 and Rogue Galaxy do it better.

The cutscenes look fantastic, though. :-)

Its not suposed to be well done .. its for japan .. they love anime scenes and bad graphics! .. it will outsell Lost Odyssey... LOL

Honestly .. would be a "ok" looking Nintendo DS game .. but will sell as hell ...

Pretty unimpressive. Hopefully it will look better over time...hopefully.

Unfortunately the chances of them re-texturing and remodeling the entire thing before they're done is pretty unlikely :/

Unfortuantly it does look like a PS2 game, but then again if it's a low budget niche title like I suspect then we can't expect much from it. Gameplay could be pretty good though, I'll have to wait and see.

But come on, really, this looks like a PS1 game. It has nothing to do with art style or that it isn't fotorealistic, neither is Blue Dragon but still that game looks gorgeous...

Well, I hope everybody knows that graphics don't make games! Still, I'm pretty sure it won't come out of Japan like most of the J-Rpg on Xbox. 1

This game looks good, and then again JRPG's do not usually have the greatest graphics.

yeah no kidding! if i was showed this back in '99 even i would still think it looks bad..
overall looks quite boring and weak imo.
