Please god let that be true, this game is a insult to any next gen machine it goes on... well apart from conan, this is the most ugly next gen game so far. and thats including RALLYX

Does anyone else think the previous trailers looked better of the game?

I like the soundtrack used for the trailer and i take it the game might have button timed fight sequences?

It didn't show much and there were quite a lot of jaggies, but the animations are well done. Still, I only ever liked Ultimate Spiderman because it looked more like the comics. This seems like an ok game, standard movie licensed game.

What the hell, these look like PS2 shots that have been blown up/stretched out to a fake higher resolution.

I thought S2 was brilliant. I thought the swing system was a real breakthrough and a proper advancement in the Series.
This however is a joke.

Yes there'll be more moves, slightly better animations, more badies, blah blah blah...
But that’s not going to make me buy this game.

Thanks to the swing system in S2, you really felt like Spiderman. The immersion factor jumped up by about 70%. That made S2 a really enjoyable game.

They need to do something that will increase that immersion even more. Instead of creating new areas that look like crap, they should have improved what they already had.
I mean spent proper time into getting NY to feel like a living breathing city.
They should have thought about ways of making the combat tighter and less of a chore.

I think this game needs some of what Star Wars: Force unleashed is getting…
Imagine if Digital Molecular Matter was done in this game, and you could properly damage the buildings. It would really make you feel empowered and more like a superhero, sending a villain hurtling through walls and apartment buildings.
And what about the Euphoria A.I. engine, the possibilities…

Anyways I’m just ranting now but, I think this game is a bit of a disappointment and with some proper TLC this would be worth the money we gamers fork out time and time again…

Here we have a perfect example why there should not be cross platform titles that cross the generations.

Unfortunately for the PS3 version having exclusive content is like getting two scoops of shit in your ice cream cone instead of one.

To be able to swing trough New York is the biggest reason I want this game :)

I just love swinging around, flipping through the air, free falling, etc. It's just awesome :D

I remember playing 2, going to the tallest building and jumping off to see if I could stop myself before hitting the ground.

I just hope the combat is redone from the second one as I didn't like it :?
