Agreed.... most of the characters in the game don't look old enough to be doing the kinds of stuff they are doing in the game.

graphically looks really sharp, and modelisation is really good, but animation and facial expressions stink bad. They look like robots.
Even tobal 2 on ps1 had better facial expressions.

Hmm, it's kind of not as good as it used to look.

But whatever. It's still the best looking JRPG thus far.

Yeah having said that.... Textures aren't great at all, and they are bullshots.

No UE3 game won't have jaggies on this generations consoles.

How are they bullshots? Wouldn't they have doctored the entire image if they were bullshots?
It's pretty obvious all the power in the game is given to the characters

Wellcome to Japan - The Country where little kids have big breast.

Looks disturbing but great?

Well at least I'm not worried about FF gfx when I see this...

Yeah, thats the problem with most japanese games. Chars look too damn good to fit into the environments.

That cutscene is bloody hilarious!! And I really really wish for the European/US versions of the game to include Japanese voices with English Subtitles.

The voiceacting is priceless(not to mention hilarious!!)

That cutscene if you understand Japanese shows just how exactly this game will be in terms of character development n all. CANT WAIT!

The video is a bit lifeless, but I guess one should expect that with lifeless looking characters
Doesn't change the fact that I will own this game though and I'm sure love playing it

They are supersampled images (bicubic downscaled from uber-res) so they classify as bullshots in my book. The game wont look nearly as good when they probably will not use the FREE-AA available to them on the 360.

Though if made on a better engine, the game could run at 1080p and be downscaled to 720p for supersampling for people who use that res. But it would make more sense just to render at 720p with 4xFSAA (like Ace Combat). Most likely it will barely run at 720p with no AA, as we are used to with these types of games regardless of who makes them.

Best looking jrpg this gen so far but some severely assy textures here and there. I'll totally give it a try though, even after the total fiasco with IU as i still hope tri-ace might pull themselves up a notch with this one.

Looks very pretty but my interest in this game was severely diminished when I read that there will be no option for the original Japanese voice track. The shockingly awful dubbing in Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia ruined those games for me.
