Xbox 360

Bethesda recently launched the official website for Star Trek Legacy, and these images from the X360 version was put online. They might be a little bit old, but I guess it's good to have them in the database anyway. The game will be released in September.

THAT's Bethesda? Well they're probably early shots, because it looks really amateur-ish...

Star Trek? STAR TREK?
When JJ Abrams revealed he was going to do the next Star Trek movie, I was sold. I've watched like 5 episodes, but now I'm gonna be a true trekkie.

At least I like the Jean Luc Picard-song, and isn't that a great start?

Self shadows wouldnt hurt, even hard shadows (or considering the scale, prefer hard shadows). Though that needs alot more than shadows to save it. Space, after all, is filled with deep black shadows especially near stars. Those shots are more like an acid trip than real space.

Yes, those graphics suck, and considering it's such an empty space, they should be able to up the detail a whole lot more.

I liked it as well, so I must be one of the few. I think the problem was that they kept putting it in really crappy timeslots.

same here. it was a good show, and i missed several seasons cuz of school, but right as i was getting back into it the show was cancelled :P

anyway, this game is looking sharp! could be prettier, but it's solid. how on earth will it play, though?

There was something about going back and adding stuff in that was never mentioned before, or even hinted at, though that's the problem with prequels. They inherently suck and must rise above it, at least, that's the way I see it. The Star Wars Prequels and Enterpirse are good examples of things that did not rise over the inherent prequel suck.

Anyhow, I really like the look of this game. I liked Armada 1 and 2, it's being made by the same guys so hopfully it'll be good.

yeah the only thing i really didn't like was the time traveling "storyline" that was kinda over the top...

Being quite addicted to the Star Trek series (mainly Voyager as that kinda had a preset storyline) they really need to make sure they get the gameplay right on this game. From the images it looks like its developing well and the graphics (compared to the humble other consoles) are great. But seriously, if this Star Trek turns out anything like Empire at War (Star Wars game recently for PC) then i'd see it as quite a dissapointment.

yeah, but i didn't care much for those things :) all in all, i thought it was ok, but not as good as voyager or enterprise series. it would be nice to have some new star trek every week again, though!
