MS and the publishers simply don't get it.. To get your game popular and built some kind of fanbase you should give *free* DLC, not this kind of BS.. On the PC the industry knows they have to give this stuff for free to keep the fans interested (any online game that doesn't get free official DLC or some sort of editor so the community can make it themselfs will eventually fail), on the consoles they're not there yet, on those platforms they use it only as a tool to make some extra money (which only works for the really popular games)..
Like Kudgel said, Stranglehold is already not very popular.. They could have made an impact by giving this pack away for free (or at least cheaper then most other DLC on Xbox Live) and maybe get this game more popular.. But no, they dropped the ball again because of greed..
It's just skins and maps.. Stuff any kid with a bit of skill can make with an editor, so it's not exactly costing them a fortune to make.. Hell, even I made skins for a few games in the past, and I know nothing.. It's just greed, nothing else..
By and large, it's their first foray into the DLC market though, hopefully they'll learn.
Only those free XBLA or really famous one like bomberman, you get players....
We can blame M$ too, they've made it clear they don't want free DLC on Live... 1200 points is ridiculous, though.
I'd still like to play this.. I hear some Target stores have the PC version for under $15. It might actually be worth it at that point.
