Wideload are the gold that made HALO the greatest , thats why HALO 2 wasnt so great , it wasnt made by the whole team that created HALO.
@XSAVAGE: IMO was Halo 2 exactly like Halo, but better than Halo.

wow thats funny thanks LOL
I have to at least TRY this game.
yep , Bungie Development team was bigger when they were making HALO , after that they splitted and took the HALO engine with them , Wideload was born and they started making Stubbs. Bungie used to make a lot of Mac and some Windows games , after them being taken by Microsoft they stopped making games for MAC.

Wideload LICENSED the halo engine, and does not own it. Halo's core engine, AI, and physics programmers (Chris Butcher and Charlie Gough), Music(Marty O'Donnel), Cinematics(Joe Staten), Tools (Noguchi), Artists (Shi Kai Wang, Rob McLees, Lorraine McLees) stayed on. The lead design on Halo (Jason Jones, Jaime Griesemer) stayed on, the producer (Pete Parsons) stayed on. All teams see turnover at the end of a game development, there is no evidence for a mass exodus from bungie, except in the minds of the players that cannot accept change.
Wideload is an exciting company, Aspyr is a great publisher. Stubbs is a big risk and I wish them the best. I will be purchasing stubbs tomorrow, and I'll post a review if anyone would like. I've spoken with Matt Soell (writer for stubbs) and I can tell you he's a fantastic guy.
Any decision you don't agree with on Halo 2, take it to Bungie. They made the game they wanted to make, and it's a fabulicious game. Not perfect, but it's great on a lot of levels. BTW, Team hardcore is surprisingly awesome. Those MLG guys may be on to something.
