Riddler character design looks bad.

gaf's impressions seem pretty negative. plus the engine, while improved visually, is still a mess. i mean, it's hardly a stunner, but it's 720p on xbox and 900p on PS4. still has wonky animations and poor performance with big drops in framerate. whether the story is any good i don't know. i heard the GOT telltale game was shit but i managed to enjoy the story at least, despite everything else being a huge pile of jank.

i think this studio needs to lay off the announcements, especially for the licensed stuff. go on a hiring spree, weed out their shit animators and put more money and time into these things so they're of a quality people expect from a game, because it's getting harder and harder to see the positives (story) through the jank (everything else)

I quite enjoyed the first season of Batman, I thought it was pretty good and I had zero problems playing it on pc, framerate wise or anything. The problem with Telltale games is they all have great stories but gameplay is quite dull, sometimes you can help but feel they would be better as tv episodes than games considering how little you actually play. I think they should act more gameplay elements, puzzles or something, otherwise the formula, which was attractive one day, will end up becoming tedious and repetitive.

What's up?

GriftGFX There's a thread on ERA about PUBG's influence and the origins of the game mode are fairly interesting. BR started in Minecraft. (24 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @KORNdog: Almost definitely WW2. PUBG's 8x8km map is probably four times the size of a large Battlefield map though. (34 minutes ago)

KORNdog battlefield makes the most sense to me. it's already a high player count game and maps can already get pretty big. is the new one WW2? (36 minutes ago)
