The game looks rather good actually. I love the animation when he does the swat turn, very natural and realistic. Otherwise, I'd have to say that I'm kind of getting tired if tps's, give me some more good fps's (I know, the irony!).

TPSs with a cover system are to this gen what WW FPS games were to last gen. lol
(i.e: over populated)

Looks suprisingly good. Apart from the quite good visuals itself I must say the colour palette is pretty nice as well. :) And lighting..

My hopes arent high though, but no1 would be happer than me if this one turns out good... promising with co-op

I'm glad to see that in the whole "game-movie movie-game" debacle things are taking such a nice change in the "game" side of the argument. What with Wanted being considerably good and the Wolverine game looking quite promising too. This looks shockingly good, I think it has more than enough potential to stand tall in holiday season against established franchises. It's a movie licensed game, so one of its greatest strengths by default is marketing.

may be very interesting if it has online coop. Please.

split screen co-op and this is a must.

Not if its a good one. Imo the only shooters with a GOOD cover system is Rainbow Six Vegas 1 & 2, and Gears of War 1 & 2. (frankly GoW's sort of sucks since its so klunky with a button, Vegas way of doing it with a soft trigger button is much smoother)

Couldn't agree more. Kill.Switch and RBV have the best cover mechanic.

aye, push and hold cover systems work the best imo, sadly only a handfull of games use it (vegas, killzone 2, BIA : hells highway) the rest use the "press button to lock onto cover" method, but some games work reletively well using that (gears and uncharted)

i dunno, i like the inclusion of cover systems in games tbh. since its something you would do in that situation anyway. plus it lets you relax a little since you know you're safe when in cover.

this games cover looks good tho, much like wanted. but i hope it's better (and longer) then wanted overall, since it wasnt an amazing game and it was short as hell (about 3.5 hours)

Stream still encoding? :/
Oh yeah i forgot BIA: Hell's Highway. That was pretty sweet too, while it lasted. Could never get past the windmill-level (in the beginning) due to bugtastic lack of objective updates :P

I like cover too. In fact more so than games which lack them. (i'd be in heaven if CoD5 (modern warfare 2) had a cover mechanic)
It gives you more options. Run and gun OR camp and relax. I know camping is the old-school "bad thing to do" rule in fps games, but i miss it.
It seems that most fps these days are so insanely run&gun that you cant set up ambushes or apply any sort of tactics what so ever apart from BOOM headshot BOOM headshot.

And if you try to bend the run&gun rules by improvising, say C4 ambushes or hiding in a bush and bonzai charging in CoD, people go nuts and yell "faggot coward!" at you :D Lol its pretty fun to piss people off like that.
I gotta go do that right now o/

Stream was broken on the server side. We managed to work around it so it should be working again. Sorry about that.

It's wanted with new textures ! are they even using the same animation routine for taking cover ? -Still, nothing wrong with Wanted, exept it's lenght.

More varied than Wanted, and better animations, very impressed.

BiA: Hell's Highway has my favourite cover system. Don't like Gears cover "one button does all", their level design just has no imagination.

I'm going to say it
That looks better then Killzone2 hahahhahah

wanted was very average. the combat just seemed very vague. the demo did not inspire me to purchase the full game. this on the other hand looks better (along with bionic commando)

I have to admit that I'm very impressed by that footage ... the new movie does nothing for me, but I want that game now ...

I so hope that giant robot at the end is like a boss we have to take down with normal weapons in the game I hate it when they give us such a large boss and it's either scripted in how we kill it (resistance 2) or HAVE to use a special weapon/one particular weapon (GoW1&2 and many others) but hey this game is suprising the hell out of me.
