TGS05: Chrome Hounds Trailer

TGS05: Chrome Hounds Trailer

TGS has bought us this new trailer of Chrome Hounds, From Software's mecha game. It looks great, there seems to be a good atmosphere and the mech's design is quite nice. In two words: watch it.

Ya it does look nice and insinuates to what gameplay will be like. However judging by screenshots this isn't actually what the realtime gameplay will look like, although the final gameplay will be incredible.

In graphical terms, the trailer shows exactly how the game will look like. Just look at the shadows, it's obviously in-engine.

that's in-engine, at full res, and with camera angles you probably won't experience in-game.
The camera angles make you think it's a movie.
This is the status of current graphics. Very cool.

Ya that's what i was thinking too, the shadows look low rez and they clip, but the models don't look the same (screenshots vs trailer). Who knows it's probably what they're striving for, but just havn't reached the level yet? It's anyones guess.

Gamespot says that mech design (and quality) in-game looks like mech design (and quality) in CG-Movies. And framerate is stable. I like Mech games.
