Wow, that looks so good O.O

Just stunning. I wish SF4 went this route, and GG didn't turn into a mediocre beat-em-up...

This has such a high awesomeness factor. It jusrt looks incredibly good. Really. I wish we could see some more characters and stages though, i'm tired of the fat ladies.

Blaz Blue never looked very good imo. High resolution isn't everything...you want smooth animation and preferably shading in more than two tones per color :P

There are some new moves, complete rebalance of the cast....wait until you see the GameSpot Footage ;)

looks nice.. but theres no excuse why king of the fighters shouldnt of been looking like this for years. Guilty gear on the dreamcast is not that far off this.

Speaking of dreamcast.. i wish they'd make a next gen version of powerstone...or atleast put powerstone on market place. That'd be awesome on live.

Bleached smile: If you are honestly comparing GGX with this then you are either in dire need of glasses or, which i find the more likely case, you remember GGX as prettier than it is. The animation here is superb and the shading of the characters is incredible in KoF, much unlike GG. Now i love Guilty Gear, it's my favorite 2d fighter but look at the video up there again and tehn look at this:

i knew i'd get some fool picking up on that. I didnt say they looked the same, i said guilty gear on the dream cast is not that far from this. Youtube guilty gear dreamcast..watch it moving, and tell me that this new king of the fighters (which i said looked nice) looks 10yrs worth more impressive.

In terms of animation guilty gear was just as impressive imo.

honestly, GG is in my oppinion more beautiful than KoF here, because GG is completely Handdrawn and and animated, while in the new KoF they traced (drew over it) a 3d model as far as I know... I like the Style of GG more, but this is purely a matter of taste, both look grand!
I would love a HD Guilty Gear aswell :)

And GG has the worst animation in all fighting games. 2 frame moves attacks? Dashes with one frame? HIding everything behind lighting effects, dust and speed? Give me a break.

WHAT? what platform have you been playing GG on? guilty gear shamed all other 2D beat'em ups with its animation.. a truelly beautiful game

This is HD remember, it was impossible back then. Thats why games like Street Fighter 3 Third Strike are also very unlikely to be redrawn in HD.

100% on the powerstone, I hope they create a mass up of both games really miss some of the original levels + it was more unarmed combat than weapon based, two many gems too in PS2 aswell.

Third Strike has much better animation (and many more frames of animation).

Sorry but GG doesn't look anywhere near as good, you need to go play the game again me thinks.

Besides the video above isn't even direct fed and isn't 1280x720 and it still looks amazing.

+1 for PowerStone aswell, why Capcom hasn't remade this brilliant game is anyones guess.

SF4 should've looked like this, not some Street Fighter EX with cel-shaded crap.
