guys this is just the little extra add-on. Its surely prefered to having nothing at all? Online co-op, and the ability to earn loads of customisations for your fighters in the main game - also shown off online... all sounds pretty decent to me. Especially when lesser games want to charge you a tenner for their "side scrolling" beat'em up "fun" over on xboxlive.
Play The Warriors demo... you wont complain about how horrible this looks.
I remember playing Tekken as a kid, so as enticing as the 40+ characters sound, I'll probably just play this at a friend's or rent it. The only guy who succeeded in keeping this genre fresh for me was Itagaki and god knows what he's doing now.

To anyone whining: realize that this is just a tacked on feature for the tards that have trouble realizing that fighters are 100% about VS play. The main game is, always has been and always will be versus.

for a half assed little add on, it doesnt look too bad. cant be any worse then the brawlers offered on XBLA and PSN, and certainly cant be any worse then the watchmen...
Need to see some play trough properly a level or so to see how fat its come. Animation and character models look nice, but need to work on adapting how characters designed to move on 2d(2.5d) plane can work in 3d space. Need to allow the camera to draw and zoom according to how where your partner is and how many enemies there are.
why can't they just stick to what tekken is all about! there is no need for this campaign crap
tekken went downhill with tekken 4 but regained its title with tekken 5, brought back the same awesomeness tekken 3 was.
all they have to do is, take tekken 5, more fighters, build upon the customisation and if you really want to go next gen, why not incorporate realistic damage
i remember an xbox game that did this, forgot the name now..but you were able to damage an opponent enough and then break their leg, the whole fighting changed then..
now that would be the evolution of fighting games, taking it to the next level, have muscles move realistically like fight night 4..
you know what, imagine the realism of fight night 4 and merge that with tekken, but ofcourse you don't want to go too real as tekken is an arcade game but you get what i mean.
I literally never posted here after like 4+ years lol, but yeah Tekken 6 is far and away the most superior 3d fighter out. Anyone saying it's bad or terrible or a rental is clearly a casual gamer and should be treated as such. Go to Tekkenzaibatsu and educate yourself. That said the button mashing that is occurring in this video is hilariously unskilled. Definitely not a player of the Tekken series or possibly any fighting games .
