One of the most disappointing thing about the TGS this year is the lack of a new Gran Turismo 5 build showing the things announced today like the dynamic weather. It didn't prevent DjMizuhara to get behind the wheel for a few races, starting with this video.

And about the rest just watch this and think about, why damage is off

You compare a driving simulator with an arcade rally game?????
Go drive a real car and then come back to post.

Stop bashing me.
I mean I can go to any Halo threads and start saying how the environment looks bland compared to Crysis and what not but I don't!....

Eclipse WTF ? it is showing day/night cycle.
You can't just sit in and drive like pro in GT5. It takes lots of practice
It's a nice game, but it's just a rally game.
GT5 has alot of different racing types.
I get what your saying about fishnet boundaries, there's no run off etc.
I think you either get runoff with reset, or no runoff with boundaries.
Not quite sure which works best, reset is arcady imo. As is rewind, aka FORZA3.
I'm not saying the GT5 Rally tracks are perfect, they obviously need tweaking etc, that was gravel btw, not tarmac. So will have to see later on.

Rewind is what keeps me from getting impatient and frustrated with Forza 3. It has even encouraged me to turn off all assists and use manual shift.
Stop bashing me.
When you use absurd terms like "average", "outdated" and that the graphics "don't even come close to Dirt 2" you should expect to be mocked.
i'm getting drawn into the hype with GT5 tho, wasnt going to buy it since i'm not a big sim racer fan, but i just can't ignore a title that offers this much quality and quanitity. if i can thrown down money for halo reach, a game withing a franchise i don't like much, then i think i can throw down the cash for GT5 too.
Also, about the whole "Boundaries Vs Reset" bit, Boundaries give an undue advantage to the person making mistakes. Even with Damage fully on, people usually 'wall-ride', but with reset, you lose time, which is how it should be, but again, it's strictly objectionable. Would you rather want your opponent taking damage or him, reseting and starting scratch-less just to eventually catch you?
