TGS: The playroom in motion

TGS: The playroom in motion

The Playroom isn't exactly the most popular topic here on Gamersyde, but this video from the showfloor is still interesting as it shows the precision and latency of the PS4 camera and "move" mode of the DS4 controllers.

I found this...amazing! :-) It's sad that PS4 Camera won't be included in EVERY PS4. Developers will probably skip those features.

That is very impressive.

Will have to see if the Camera will be in some bundles or deals etc.

It's worth having if some good things can be done.

I still use the fight on PS3 with motion controllers.

Underrated game.

It is not sad. We know that it was Sony's intention, but after the backlash MS got for including the kinect with every console and as such having a higher price, Sony decided it was smarter to sell them seperately.
It should stay optional. It's Sony's job to convince us that the camera is worth it. And although it looks impressive in this video, it's still not somthing worth spending money on. Sony should convince with a first party game, not by shoving it down your throat.

That was supposed to say "teen horror" first person game. And it was until dawn. Seems to have fell off the map.

we all know that games wont really be made for this, and so far this is the only thing using the camera lol so why should anyone pay £60 for something that wont have many or any games

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Speaking of Spiders, I finished Technomancer yesterday. Fun game but dragged down by WAY too much backtracking and lack of different locations. (48 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: I'm not far enough into the game yet but I heard the game world is very interesting and full of great quests with multiple choices. Those kinda things sound great to me. (50 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i honestly think they'd do better making something on a smaller scale. like an isometric action RPG. that spiders (developer) could do with going that direction too. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it just looks like a typical game from them to me. like they bit off more than they can chew and the results are just mediocrity across the board. (1 Hour ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: the facial animations are bullshit yes, animations in general are passable, combat isn't nearly as bad as I expected though. The world so far has been great, very very nice indeed. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: it still looks all kinda of garbage though. lol (2 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker tearing was horrible, not to mention loading times. Plus it really doesn't look too bad either. Trees and foliage swaying in the wind, nice lighting. Good job PB. course all the jank is still there :) (2 Hours ago)
