2K Games has announced the release date of The Darkness II, the game will be out on October 4 in North America and three days later in Europe. Short announce teaser inside.

Couldn't they have gotten Kirk Acevedo back as the voice for Jackie Estacado? Instead they got Nolan North.
At least Mike Patton is back as the voice of the Darkness.

I loved the first game - but don't like the look of the second one at all

Same here, hopefully we get much more powers to play around with.
They also better add those stylish ways of finishing the enemies off with the guns, nice animations.

i like the way it looks, but not loving the way it's sounding. another sequel that's changing too much imo. much like prey.

The Darkness 1 is a masterpiece. The best game of 2007 if you ask me. But Nolan North/Nathan Drake doing the voice for Jackie this time? Why him!? Mike Patton was PERFECT. I'm disappointed! :(
