2K Games just sent us the long video of The Darkness, from the now rather old E3 build of the game. All the more or less small flaws we can see in this video will without a doubt be fixed in the final game, as Starbreeze isn't known not to polish their games.

i saw the trailer ages ago and it looked crap, this looks sick man, awesome gameplay, fast action.
im glad its a proud company thats making it and i know they will polih it off in end as there was loads of glitches and dumb AI,but imo i cannot wait for this to be released
Somethings obviously need to change, like AI, but damn they have some great ideas there. I don't know if those two things to your side will get annoying after a while as they take too much of the screen and they cast a weird light to some objects. Also, I'm not sure if the dual aim reticule is going to work very well.
You can tell they are obviously using the Riddick engine or at least, a lot of stuff from that engine........sadly jaggies are included into this :( The lighting looks VERY much like that of Riddick.
Very very good though, hoping for the best, go Starbreeze!

btw i cant believe gears of war is coming out in 1 month!!!! wtf!!!!!!! woooohoooooo!! (sorry im drunk ;))

Because the game isnt out for couple of months from now, the AI will be upgraded like any other coming soon games. Other than that, I love it how you can release those "evil monkeys" on your enemy.
The wall at 4:55 look pretty much like those in Riddick, and at 4:57 I can almost swear I've seen that same light with the same shadows in Riddick. Here it is: http://images.xboxyde.com/gallery/public/4423/788_...
Riddick looks and IS awesome, so it's a positive comment:

Note the text "Confidential...." ;)
The video shows a test-level where the AI is totally scripted. The AI doesnt actually behave like that.
