Most of you guys must have already seen the following images of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim thanks to the magic of bad quality scans. If you missed them though, here is a chance to see them in 720p. UPDATE: 4 screens added.
Well oh em gee, even though I expected a crysis-like nature (and quite disappointed in not seeing it here), at least I'm happy to see that Bethesda finally learned how to make realistic and not-ugly people. Must admit, after morrowind, oblivion and 2x fallouts I started to lose all hope.
Anyways, hopefully pc version will be sharper, with nice AA and great physics, like bending plants/branches etc.
Direct shots rather than mag scans always appreciated. Looks good, love the new look of NPC's, actually look human now. Textures and jaggies look a bit odd, theyre sorta mid / low QL textures but the filtering is insane, the quality of the textures hold up for everything in every shot regardless how far away it is.
I guess I expected more in terms of graphics since it was such a huge leap between Morrowind and Oblivion. I think we have to wait and see. Right now it looks only slightly better than Oblivion.
Just make a great gameplay with FINALLY great animations and I will buy it.
Graphics are good enough, need to see it in motion considering most games look better in motion than screenshots.
you people make me laugh you really do. The screens look great...and thats without even considering the scope of the game. I doubt any of you could point to a better looking open world RPG thats out at the moment. Yet you all bore me with the same lazy "console version" comments.

Looks great. Except that those steep mountains are slightly worrying. You can't actually go top of them so it limits the freedom. Unless they give us back the levitation spell. And snow is blue and grey. I want glistening white snow.
while i dont think it's a particularly impressive looking game (but still better then oblivion). i do appreciate the prospect of more visually distinct zones like it was in morrowind. oblivions world was all a bit too green fields and woodland....but not much else. by the sounds of it. this should be more varied. even if that variation does end up being video game cliche's, like lava area, snow area, woodland area etc. it'll add some much needed variety.
Looks like Bethesda have finally employed a character modeler and stopped the programmers using 3D Studio. Engine tech looks a little weak though, it's streets behind id Tech 5. And still no environment shadows.
TW2 does look nice..but better than the screens shown here? no.
This worlds gonna be HUGE. Those characters have great detail..and there's going to be hundreds of them. Annoys me that people cry out "console version" in effert to devalue whats shown... when you only have to compare it to the last Fallout 3 to see just how much of an improvement they're getting out of 5yr old hardware.
Besides which.. it looks great. And i still havent seen an open world RPG out that makes this look less impressive (going by the screens..we'll have to wait to see the animations)

Ok, didn't know you wanted a comparison to Oblivion, or Skyrim. Because Skyrim ISN'T OUT YET, so I don't see where you get off saying another game isn't better looking when you're comparing SCREENSHOTS and have not played the game yet.
I'm playing Two Worlds 2 at the moment, and it doesn't come close to these screens. If in TW2 you look just a little ahead everything becomes blurry ArcaniA style.
I just hope there will be great boob-physics, so I can watch that pretty barmaid doing her rounds. :)

that was the whole point my little friend. People are complaining at the visuals of this when theres nothing currently out that shows what we've seen so far up.
Me asking if people could care to "point to a better looking open world RPG" in the context of talking about these screen shots.. in a thread dedicated to these screens shots.. should of given you a clear hint that i was looking for something to compare to whats been shown of the game so far.
