The end is nigh with State of Decay

Back in 2011, Microsoft announced that developer Undead Labs was working on a zombie-related title but only today do we learn more about State of Decay. Planned for release on Xbox Live Arcade and PC, the game will put you in the shoes of a survivor of some sort of apocalypse which causes all the undead to invade the planet. Cooperation and survival in an open world environment will be at the core of gameplay, which obviously reminds of DayZ (and recently announced The War Z). This might be a very good chance for console owners to have a taste at the end of the world. Images inside, trailer to come if we ever find something else than the Youtube video.

Just watched the trailer, looks surprisingly interesting. Well... At least for me. Gonna keep an eye on this one, zombies are my weak point, I bought whole Secret World because of awesome first location which this game reminded me of.

is this open world like dayz? looks pretty interesting, and thing with zombie/open world is must :P

The game looks very bad from the technical point of view - textures, models, animations, sound. CryENGINE 3 is nowhere to be seen.

I thought that when i first saw it...was like "multibillion corporation, who makes millions from their core franchises (halo, gears) and they make this"...but then i read it was an arcade release and was actually pleasently surprised. Looks like it could be good.
