Boom Boom Rocket is often compared to Fantavision, a PS2 launch title, but except for the actual firewors these two titles don't have much in common. Boom Boom Rocket is much closer a Konami Rhythm-game than anything else, even if it has some elements that help differentiate it too. I'll let you watch this first video of my favorite song, followed tonight by another one, and you'll get even more footage in the next Gamersyde Diaries, hopefully released soon!
It's the first time we've been allowed to released some footage before a XBLA title was released, so many thanks to Bizarre and EA for this!
Update: As promised, here is the second video. More in GSD5!

awesome thank blim!
hey blim, how do you like it?
When are you doing the video of you playing it blindfolded Blim :D
I hope more publishers give permission to record from partner.net.
Can see EA milking this with additional music tracks on XBL.
I really really like this game. I had an excellent time recording the videos last night :)
This is supposed to be available this week?!
I'm not sure if that complements Guitar Hero, or competes with it.
Is it confirmed that you can add your songs and make rockets in necessary time?
How do you actually play that game? Dpad for left and down and buttons for up and right or which one is the best setup?
Seems like it'd be easier to double task for some of those button presses.
OMG!!! The song from "part 2" is awesome *-*
argh, I knew it....but music in school was always boring for me (altough I should know it as a german xD ).
whatever, its a wonderful remix.
