Boom Boom Rocket is often compared to Fantavision, a PS2 launch title, but except for the actual firewors these two titles don't have much in common. Boom Boom Rocket is much closer a Konami Rhythm-game than anything else, even if it has some elements that help differentiate it too. I'll let you watch this first video of my favorite song, followed tonight by another one, and you'll get even more footage in the next Gamersyde Diaries, hopefully released soon!
It's the first time we've been allowed to released some footage before a XBLA title was released, so many thanks to Bizarre and EA for this! Update: As promised, here is the second video. More in GSD5!
@Melmoth: that is one impressive engine. Didn't it also run until dawn, and soon a massive open world game. (12 minutes ago)
The only bad thing is that now I'm dying to play Crash Bandicoot. I didn't notice the sounds the first time, but from the second onwards they hit me so hard with nostalgia. Those are great games. (1 Hour ago)
Just watched PSX 2016 for the 4th time, reactions from the Easy Allies and Kinda Funny guys. It was such an unbelievably amazing show that just gets better after each rewatching. Congrats to Sony! (1 Hour ago)
