As promised here is the second part of the beginning of Dead Rising, this time showing a tad more gameplay and THE reason why the Zombies managed to enter the Mall. Kudos to the story write for that one! A third and last part (hopefully) will be online tonight or tomorrow.

I love this game. I just finished overtime mode for the true ending last night and I have to say that I haven't felt such a sense of accomplishment from a game in a long time. It's challenging in an old-school capcom sort of way. I even like the save system because of the urgency it creates and how fun it makes starting a new game. Though I'm biased (being a huge dawn of the dead fan) I have to say this is one my favorite games in recent years.

How long did it take for you roughly to complete the game anyway ?

Not exactly sure since i did have to load a few saves here and there, but I'd say I played for maybe 15 hours? I think if you did a straight play through without stopping to smell the disemboweled entrails, it would take about 10 hours.

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (9 Hours ago)
