Next out is EA's Fight Night Round 4, the sequel to one of the best sports games this generation. Many changes have been made and the most impressive one is the new physics engine. Hit detection is much better and clipping issues aren't common anymore. Aside from that, the game looks really pretty and the Legacy mode has gotten a bit less automatic, more decisions about the career can now be made.

plus you can download new boxers for FREE with the awesome "boxer share"..which the reviews really should of made more a fuss about as some of the faces are spot on.

Another thing the reviews failed to mention was the impressive ESPN zone. This lets you listen to not only pod casts, but also stream video..so you get interviews with trainers like Freddy Roach. And you get to watch the latest big title fight highlights...all little nice touches.

Game looks pretty, not as realistic in visuals as FN3, but alot more fluid animation, facial expressions, and details.

Oh and its great fun to play. I'd advise anyone to get it.

Best. Sport Game. Ever... IMO. I saved this great replay of knocking out Tyson where I slip one of his punches and you can actually see him realise my punch was gonna lay him out! His expression as he watches my punch come in was priceless! He, he, he. Now if only I could do that to Mayweather...

I got this game. Pretty cool, very fun when you are playing with other people. I haven't even played the career yet, just vs fights. Great improvements at the core of the game, I like it.

One HUGE disappointment was the game-face feature. That thing simply does not work. No matter what face you use, they will always look pretty much the same. We are so far off from including ourselves in the game it's not even funny.

yep the game-face feature is a pain..sometimes they do come out well though. I made a great bruce lee. I even made Winston Churchill, and a good Hitler (wont let me place hitler for download though). Theres a really good Bruce Willis available for download too.. and he's a punch bag.

Great gameplay, but they really fucked up the career mode by making the mini games such a total pile of trash. They need a fix on that so that you can build a true knockout power house boxer like Tyson or Rocky.
