Gatling Gears was released last Wednesday on Xbox Live Arcade and is in fact a good old shoot them up that will remind a lot of the old Run and Gun games of yore. It sure does not bring much to the genre but the game is still a solid title to play alone or with a friend (local or online). There are 6 chapters (including the prologue), each being composed of 5 levels. Each chapter ends with a boss fight that you have to take down in 3 steps without any checkpoints to make it easy on you. The game is actually quite challenging in medium and hard mode but it should not take you more than 6 hours to complete. The question is, are you ready to pay 1200 Microsoft points to get it? The answer is really up to you, so give our videos a look or, better yet, try the demo.

@Moonwalker: HDR does more for that "Wow!" factor than just increasing resolution to 4K. (16 minutes ago)
Tried out FM7 demo, FH3, Recore and man....what a difference. SDR looks dull in comparison now, jeez. In terms of colours for starters, sky and sun in FM7 and FH3 looks lovely, vivid. (52 minutes ago)
Good lord, i just truly witnessed HDR. And now i see what all the hype is about. Xbox One S let's you enable/disable HDR on the fly and you can easily notice the differences then. (55 minutes ago)
