Gatling Gears was released last Wednesday on Xbox Live Arcade and is in fact a good old shoot them up that will remind a lot of the old Run and Gun games of yore. It sure does not bring much to the genre but the game is still a solid title to play alone or with a friend (local or online). There are 6 chapters (including the prologue), each being composed of 5 levels. Each chapter ends with a boss fight that you have to take down in 3 steps without any checkpoints to make it easy on you. The game is actually quite challenging in medium and hard mode but it should not take you more than 6 hours to complete. The question is, are you ready to pay 1200 Microsoft points to get it? The answer is really up to you, so give our videos a look or, better yet, try the demo.

@aphex187: Not sure Nvidia ever had a step up program.. you might be thinking of OEMs like EVGA. (6 Hours ago)
@Moonwalker: No, the dock will not provide additional processing power and it's purpose is to charge the tablet and takes care of the video output to the TV. This has been confirmed. (7 Hours ago)
Do Nvidia still do that step up programme? (7 Hours ago)
