Gatling Gears was released last Wednesday on Xbox Live Arcade and is in fact a good old shoot them up that will remind a lot of the old Run and Gun games of yore. It sure does not bring much to the genre but the game is still a solid title to play alone or with a friend (local or online). There are 6 chapters (including the prologue), each being composed of 5 levels. Each chapter ends with a boss fight that you have to take down in 3 steps without any checkpoints to make it easy on you. The game is actually quite challenging in medium and hard mode but it should not take you more than 6 hours to complete. The question is, are you ready to pay 1200 Microsoft points to get it? The answer is really up to you, so give our videos a look or, better yet, try the demo.
And SSRI's for example would not make it to market without proving (in double blind, placebo controlled studies) on-label efficacy and safety. (3 Hours ago)
I've had the pleasure of working on many pharmaceutical projects over the last decade. I'm not a doctor. Or a scientist. But I know how rigorous the FDA approval process is. (3 Hours ago)
Meta-studies are mostly good for trying to prove points on the internet. (3 Hours ago)
@droezelke: meta-studies aren't traditionally very reliable. A single study can be more convincing than many studies. Weighing the value of each against one another is a tricky bit of analysis. (3 Hours ago)
