The first 10 minutes : Headhunter Redemption

The first 10 minutes : Headhunter Redemption

Sega has been kind enough to send me a review copy of Headhunter Redemption, so I just had to forget my "hate" of action/stealth games in order to make a video of the beginning of the game. I won't comment at all on the game itself as I just can't play even the simplest stealth scene but you should be able to see if this game is interesting or not by watching the full intro and then about 10 minutes of gameplay.

I can't say everything is bad in that game, but it feels more like a game that should have been released 2 years ago when this generation was starting. Considering the sheer number of games this one has to compete against I just don't see what makes it stand out in the crowd.
At least we still get a great music score from Richard Jacques :)

Thank you so much for this video Blim Blim ! Ive been waiting for this game for quite some time now as Im a big fan of the first game on dreamcast..
If its anyway possible please post a little bit more gameplay video :)
Those character models looked quite dated, but other wise im not judging it from those videos alone.. it still has potential in my books. Just not sure if its worth 50e :/
And yes the music seemed to be as good as in the first game. Still listening the soundtrack now and then..

About the game

What's up?
  • MrWhite
MrWhite that's a pretty big deal, as its probably the biggest stumbling block for the tech. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Stuff like inside out tracking and eye tracking, as well as motion sickness solutions should be in place. We've already got a product in development that claims to have eradicated that already (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite The potential of it is massive. More so than what traditional gaming now is. Second gen is going to be very interesting. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite We're sort of being spoon fed bit sized "experiences" that either work or don't. I suppose that's part of the freshness of it, though. I just wish some big devs would get more involved. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @KORNdog: Ironically, though, the VR scene is also playing it safe. Too safe. There's not enough big risk titles like RE7. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I can't really wrap my head around being dismissive of indie games. That's a pretty broad label. (5 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus put and end to corridor/cinematic/c utscene/qte/playforyousoyouwon'tmissathi ousoyouwon'tmissathing ng experiences, and start to see more games like Prey/BotW and the sort. Nuts&Bolts is an awesome game, as well. We need N&B2 (7 Hours ago)
