Prey is one of these mythical games like Duke Nukem Forever or Team Fortress 2, announced years ago and either disappearing completely, or barely looking alive. Well, who would have thought 18 months ago that Prey would be in stores now, and that Team Fortress 2 would be back again? Certainly not me, so I'm quite happy to present this video of the first 10 minutes of Prey, that many of you guys certainly know already thanks to the demo. My full impressions and another video, this time showing what's happening after the demo ends will be online either tonight or tomorrow.

Might rent it thou!
just be forewarned that if you buy the LCE you will most likely get a scratched game disc as it is just on a rubber dot on the back door of the tin. :(
what is the LCE?
might be a stupid question but hey, wouldn't be my first one.. :p
what is the LCE?
I got it on Launch day, and it really is amazing! The Single Player is so much better than just the Demo, please don't judge the whole game by that, as you will be VERY misled!! Plus, the Multiplayer rocks too! Besides some lag issues, it's kinda fast-paced (Not quite Unreal, but alot quicker than Halo), the maps are pretty cool, though there could be more of them. Overall, i'm very happy with my purchase, as are many others.
and the whole gravity and portal thing.....very nice ,very well thought out.
and some of the weapons just crazy.
wipes the floor with doom 3 and quake 4, (imo) one of the best fps out at the moment
I think this game was fabulous for the single-player demo, but absolutely despised the multiplayer. I don't agree that faster is always better.
I think their multiplayer weapon damage and health ratio is unbalanced. Many game websites also said this.
I would say if you wanted to buy the game, get it for single-player, and it will be much better than demo, because the demo showed the initial puzzles, and the later game builds up on them.
The first 5 minutes of the game were great. Runeman:), Card games and judas priest. I was like "wow. All this fun stuff", but when you get to the spaceship, there's nothing fun:/ Well, those "underwear- guy's" were pretty fun...
I played the demo on my PC and although i was just able to drag enough power from my graphics card to display the bump maps and stencil shadows i was impressed by the gameplay. The gravity bending and portals were really cool.
Downloading now... can't wait to see how it looks on 360. :)
