Vivendi will be releasing High Moon Studios' The Bourne Conspiracy this week in Europe on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and here are the First 10 Minutes from the game in video-form. The video shows the first level in the game, a part not playable in the demo.
One of the biggest differences compared to the demo is the enemies. I found soldiers to be much more difficult to beat in hand-to-hand combat than the security guards in the embassy mission. The guards just felt too easy to beat, while the soldiers to me were just a long pain to kill. The "local henchmen" in the video below were just more satisfying to fight against, a mix of the two above, and as combat is such an important aspect in this game it skyrocketed the fun factor for me.
I am far from finishing the game but so far the game seems better than the normal movie-licensed game, a statement which many in the US agree on. The game was released a couple of weeks back there, though it's strange that Europe get it almost a month later. It is based on Unreal Engine 3, giving it a nice and clean look.
As mentioned above the video shows the first level of the game, finishing it off with a boss fight.
Clunky animation, boring repetitive gameplay, and it looks too easy. Every game needs to have something DYNAMIC in it these days, and this game has nothing.
From what I played it was good, but the fighting was kind of like a turn-taking game which turned me off because it would have been great to flight with fluid motion against tough opponents. I want it, but will probably just put in a trade request for it and wait.
Posted by dcdelgado that was cool, i enjoyed just watching.
I thought the same thing too, then I played it. It's not that it's not fun because there are some really cool moments but you honestly find yourself going, "If they only did this or that different" while you are playing. In many ways it's a third-person hand to hand to combat game so the game play mechanics should have been stellar.
Because Bourne doesn't miss by much you might still actually like it, but the point is it still missed being brilliant by just a few things. Things like a bit more complexity in Jason's animation, smarter AI and the need to mix things up for the boss battles. I found I was taking most bosses down with just a bit of timing.

@alimokrane: definatly. Don't give up what you may only be offered once in a lifetime. AC2 is always gonna be there, and will no doubt be half the price in a month (34 minutes ago)

It's still fun dc, but it could have been better.
There's some subtle product placement there ;)
I guess we better get used to both ad and product placement in games because it's here to stay.
