The Last Remnant has been released today in all countries, a first for a Square-Enix RPG. Like many others I didn't expect much from this game, so it's a surprise for me to have enjoyed the first hour so much. And even technically, especially for a UE3 game from a Japanese developer, the game isn't too bad with so far a quite good framerate during the exploration parts. It sure slows down during fights, but since it's not realtime it's not such an issue. More videos tonight and tomorrow! Update 3: Part 4 in now available. I'm done for the moment, but maybe some more videos showing more of the game will follow over the week-end.
@KORNdog: Yeah, really great story. Also, make sure to replay a second time, the enhanced edition has much more elements and story for the second playthrough. It's worth it. (4 minutes ago)
Quite frankly, I'm excited for the StarCraft Remaster. I haven't played the original in years, and even though my brother has the CDs - and DLCs - it's very old game design wise. (6 minutes ago)
That oxenfree story is going to be sticking with me for a while. Damn... (6 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Absolutely. It generates good PR. EA does it with the "Free on the House" games. And Ubisoft did it with the "Ubi30" games. Still, it's generous to allow people to play these games for free (8 minutes ago)
@Sdarts: I guess.. but it's also promotional and basically cost free. (10 minutes ago)
I have actually thought about what it means to take a human life, and I'm absolutely certain anyone with half a consciousness has done it too. Road to Perdition is great movie about this. (11 minutes ago)
