The Godfather 2 launch trailer

The Godfather 2 launch trailer

Electronic Arts also released the launch traler of The Godfather 2. Clearly the game is not going to win any prizes for its graphics, but the cutscenes seem to be quite well done.

Apparently the shooting is terrible on the consoles, using lock-on or manually.

Hopefully the PC version can deliver on that front as I loved the first game for all its flaws.

PC for some reason handles that a lot better. Which seems surprising (to me anyway) considering analog sticks tend to work a lot better for manual aiming in games like this.
And lock on FAILS, even with the option to aim at different parts of the body.

Eurogamer slated it in their review yesterday. Said it was a lot worse than the original, which had its flaws as well.

Just get 'Scarface' folks as they basically just copied that game (and failed apparently).

'Scarface has "don view" too and lots of other features this game doesn't have.
'Scarface' is one of my many favourites on the PS2.

About the game

KORNdog MGSV to me feels like just cause. You have mechanics that you are free to llay with in a world, but the objectives all feel samey and hollow because of it (47 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog You either give the player those crafted moment at the expense of the freedom people exoect in an open world (gtaV) or you make everything samey and keep the freedom. (48 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I think its just because its hard to create meaningful, well designed moments in an open world. (50 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Yeah exactly. Never once in MGS1 and 3 was there a truly dull moment. Hell, MGS2 had awesome stuff as well. Are we just spoiled, or is this open world thing not for MGS? I'll a lot more 2mor (53 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: yeah, they can, but they're locked bhind in game currency. Items, and department lvl. Sitting on a cliff marking dudes then sneaking in is getting a but dull. (55 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Damn, that sucks. Just now i watched some of the earlier released videos and they showed some of the special items and weapons. Those can definitely make it more fun. (57 minutes ago)

KORNdog I'm still ages away from getting a non lethal sniper rifle (57 minutes ago)
