Like for Uncharted 2, here comes the beautiful trailer of The Last Guardian as we saw it during the E3 Sony Media Briefing. A little gem of poetry, to watch and watch again (especially in HD).
Update: We finally found a good quality HD version of the trailer, so there it is. Who cares if you already saw it, this trailer is worth watching again!

Outstanding. That's what gaming should be about, telling a stories.
Don't know why but it reminds me books that i've read when i was young. Beautiful world, art style etc. Day one for me, i'm now sure that its gonna be one of best gaming experiences i gonna have even that i didn't see any gameplay i put some high hopes for this one ;D

Simply MAGICAL! If the ICO games have showed anything, it is that you dont need to eliminate/replace controllers to make a truly absorbing and immersive game.

I just don't know. why is this so impressive? I've not been so impressed by this game. Firstly cause it is not appealing to me at all, and secondly it's just not as impressive as you all seem to think it is.

I totally see where you are coming from and I feel like that all the time about other games, but for me this game just screams quality in subtle details

Fair enough to have your own opinion, but to form opinion for others is childish... I could say the same for a number of games. I find it impressive for the atmosphere, graphics and animation...in all those areas it is in the very top of what we have seen so far this gen...

(jaw dropped) the stills i saw however long ago kinda seemed bland to me...but this...this is fantastic (in both senses of the word). Sony has the chance here to seriously redeem themselves, this is beautiful.

I never played either of those titles but I think this looks fascinating and the creature is one of the most remarkable living things ever created for a game. The only off putting thing for me is the way they used the music from the Shawshank Redemption as a placeholder soundtrack because I keep getting reminded of Morgan Freeman...

I can't wait to hear more and see some actual gameplay...

So was there actual gameplay in there? It seemed like most of it was CGI, with a couple of ingame sequences to me.

Looks interesting though, keeping an eye on this one for sure!

i think the bits of the boy sneaking could have been tbh. and the bit where he throws the barrel at the guard, also the bits where he's climbing the creature while the creature is climbing the structures...swimming section as well looks pretty gamey. some bits are clearly in-engine cinematics tho. there just wouldnt be any gameplay involved in a lot of those scenes. like when the creature and boy first meet.

It wasn't necessarily the "gamey" moments that give me that impression, it's because of the visual quality seems to go up and down like crazy in this vid. Perhaps it's due to the encoding or something...
