The Last of Us is back

The Last of Us is back

The Last of Us is undoubtedly the game that can still make you want to play on your PS3, and the upcoming release of Naughty Dog's first single player DLC isn't going to change that, quite the contrary. Here is the launch trailer of Left Behind, the prequel to the events told in the main game. This new adventure in post apocalyptic America will be available just in time for Valentine's Day.

I think i'm going to dust off the PS3 for this. If it's anything like the main game it'll be worth it.

OMG, I can't freaking wait!!! :) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Naughty Dog should emulate Nvidia's slogan for their games and DLC and say "The way it meant to be made".

Come on Feb 14th...

The Last of Us is so far above any other game released last year, it's not even funny.

Cutscene still looks amazing. I will have to dust off my PS3. I hope we get to see ND's PS4 game this year!!!

Looking forward to going back to TLoU. I think this is the first linear game that I have played all the way through 3 full times. Definitely top 3 games of this gen imo.

I am assuming we are playing as Ellie's friend there, since Ellie wasn't really a killer prior to meeting Joel (otherwise game would be kinda boring)...

Ellie hadn't killed a person, but given how she handled her switch blade you have to assume she'd killed infected... i have a feeling this is going to go in the direction of innocent, vulnerable little girl against the monsters. Kinda like the mission in siren blood curse where you played as a little girl and it's creepy as hell. Probably a bigger emphesis on stealth and avoidence. I'm looking forward to it.

I love playing as her character in the game, with just the knife. If I had to go through the whole DLC with just a knife, I'd be fine with that. Amazing game.

and this game runs on 2006 ,,GTX 7800" ( 228 GFLOPS) / 256MB / 256MB RAM :) Just imagine 2013 ,,AMD 7870" ( 1843 GFLOPS ) / 8GB GDDR5 unified memory ( 5500Mhz )

About the game

What's up?
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: Yup. Oh and I can't forget to mention how dark it is, and that story, real nice. The dynamic between Jackman and Stewart was superb too. (6 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: I'm glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Wolverine in the comics was always bloody, savage and ruthless. Something the previous movies never did, probably to stay PG-13 - suitable for teens. (6 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @digi_matrix: Looking very forward to it. But no spoilers please. Now I know I will most likely cry at the end. (Which is never a bad thing.) (7 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @droezelke: No problem, in games like Edith Finch what's most important is story, characters and world settings. It's like movies or a very short TV show/mini series, gameplay isn't as important. (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Oh and I loved the violence, yep. I never liked how there was barely any blood in the previous films, impossible when you have someone like Wolverine cleaning house. This is how it's done. (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker And I'm so glad I watched the previous X-men movies first, specifically the two Wolverine movies, otherwise some things wouldn't have made sense (7 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker Logan was absolutely fantastic. In terms of acting, emotion, character development it's in a different league than the other X-men movies. Fucking loved it. And man, Jackman is a boss! (7 Hours ago)
