My God!!
I'm currently playing through uncharted 3.. and for a 3rd game in the series its strange to see tutorials and such hand holding continue till you're half way through the game when it finally trusts you to not be a complete idiot and know how to throw a hand granade.
A series of fixed camera angles, button mashing automatic platform sections, and hand to hand fighting that's a short step away from your basic QTE.. ND certainly arent leading the way on the gameplay front. But least we're garenteed some of the best acting and directed set pieces gaming has to offer with this Last of us.
That was pure gameplay right?
My God!!
Is there anything confirmed?
I doubt we'll get a lot of freedom in this. Probably linear cinematic game like Uncharted, with (hopefully) much less action.
Is there anything confirmed?
they've said supplies and ammo is limited through the game, but with high action scenes where they're not. generally it seems to be a case of taking a guy out with a melee weapon instead of wasting bullets. i'm curious how it'll pan out. ND are awesome at what they do. i have no doubt it'll be an amazing game, everything they've made this gen has been, why would they faulter now?

But all of this means crap to me until they show the gameplay.
I just hope there's no jumping and climbing which did nothing but frustrate me in Uncharted 2.
This looks great. But trailers like this make me what to watch it rather than play it.
But i kind ahve the same worries that some other people in this thred has; the gameplay better be up to snuff this time. The uncharted trilogy looks great but is really quite boring in terms of gameplay :P
In one of their videos, IGN stated that it's in-engine. Pretty amazing. I'm anxiously awaiting a stage demo at E3.
