Page 1 2 >>It really shows that the use of a Engine in a generic way (many of the UEngine 3 western shooters look so muck alike its discusting), it's a Devs fault, and primarily their fault, not so much the engine.
There are some engines that you can use in different games, and you can't really tell they're based on the same engine. It's not the same with UE3, there are always little things that are similar ( the use of character Bump-mapping, self-shadowing, etc )... but with the proper use of it, and the refinement of the art assets, people can have the really gritty shooters in one hand like Gears of war, and RPGs like Lost odyssey and even more artistically apart like this one, and fool some people to wich engine is being used.
O BTW does anyone know when this is meant to be coming to ps3?

I still don't know for sure if its a cutscene running in the engine real-time, or just a pre-rendered engine "video" all touched-up to look CGish, but it's awesome still.

It looks ok but its like a HD FF12 IMO.
