Brand new titles are still pretty rare on Playstation Vita but al least we can count on Sony to release their HD collections on the platform, like with The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy this week.
Taking port old games to judge the quality of the sytem seems at least not fair on top of weird. PS Vita is actually a great portable gaming machine. You should look up for some really good footage of games such as Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Killzone: Mercenary, Unit 13, etc.

I don't see the point.
Believe me, at first I thought the same. But then I realized its a must having the games we love to play wherever we go. I also have Ninja Gainden and GOW games on my Vita even tho I played them countless times on their original systems.
yes, i know the vita is great in graphics, but the graphics should be better on this game I think. It looks like a lazy port just to earn some quick bucks...

These are remasters of old games, not remakes. If the games were being remade from the ground up, then they could showcase the capabilities of the hardware. However, no remasters ever come close to touching what a console can do.
So I suppose if you consider remasters in general to be lazy cash-ins, then so be it. But I think it's great for those who have never played them, or who haven't played them in a long time. As well, it's an inexpensive purchase, plus it's a cross-buy title.
Seems like a great deal to me, and those titles certainly look better than they used to.
low res textures there. I thought vita was better than that

??????????
Anyway, It would be more fair point fingers at the developers rather than the system capabilities in the first place. And I do agree they want quick bucks, like so many other developers this days. To be honest, remastered collections are not worst than most of DLC bs for that mather.
