I kinda like what that dev said the other day "why keep referring to them as indie devs, there either devs or there not.

Same reason people distinguish an Indie Film from a Blockbuster Hollywood Popcorn flick...

... and then he referred himself as Indie Dev on hist twitter account. People that think they should or shouldn't label, and this or that is wrong for being not alike how they should do or expect, are just pathetic.

Indie just means Independent. The moment an 'indie' dev gets a publisher they're really no different to any other developer out there. But there are still indie devs out there. Just most of the "indie" devs people generally refer to arnt indie imo.

Sdarts They seem to have instead opted to invest on services, which XB1 has more and better than PS4. (2 minutes ago)

Sdarts @Tiz: Hopefully, but they need more than just 1 or 2 talented studios, probably 10 or so. Which I just don't see Microsoft investing that much money on it, to be honest. But I would love to be wrong. (3 minutes ago)

Tiz I can give them time. It took Guerilla 17 years and how many Killzone games before finding their feet with Horizon: ZD. (9 minutes ago)

Tiz @Sdarts: I like seeing all companies succeed, and where MS are concerned, my eyes are on them and Playground Games. (10 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts Yeah, I was all-in on PS1 and 2 back then. But I never hated them. And now I miss what they represented to the gaming business. I will never forget that. (12 minutes ago)

Tiz @Sdarts: Dreamcast was the last time I ever fanboyed for a company, but 1st party titles were the least of their worries. (14 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts Though I still want Microsoft and Xbox to succeed. I still remember when we lost Sega. Think of the Mega Drive/Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast. I would hate to see Xbox go away. (16 minutes ago)
