Without a word since 2008 and the prototype video, The Unfinished Swan is back with a trailer and screenshots. The game is about exploring the unknown and painting a white world. Though the latter is only the first 15 minutes according to the studio, after that it gets more weird. The title will come out on PSN later this year.
AssCreed etc, goes exlusively currentgen, like the new Arkham game is. It's not a guarantee that it will look 10x as nice, as the frameworks evolve over years, but it will help. (10 minutes ago)
being crossgen/forwardport doesn't help either. forces you to keep much of the same codebase and engine implementation unless you want to do everything twice. i hope this years yearly updates of CoD, (12 minutes ago)

@MrWhite: i haven't studied the videos carefully though, so i can't say exactly what's different, but i imagine the game now lacks 1 extra light bounce, and perhaps a global illumination system more.. (16 minutes ago)
