TellTale Games has released the first screenshots of The Wolf Among Us, the prequel to Vertigo's Fables comics. The first episode should be available to download this Summer.

it's a shame it'll be ruined by jerky, unpolished half assed animations. like all telltale games. i like their whole episodic approach, but it's clearly hurting their ability to polish up the visuals.
Oh yes looks gorgeous, hope this is as well acted as Walking Dead. Never read Fables even though they're well-loved, so will be fun going into this world fresh.

I played Walking Dead on PC and it wasn't jerky and unpolished.

Yeah, it's a nitwit of a nitpick. I get what he means but it's not something that I can't live with in a $15 game.
I just find it kinda unacceptable for a game all about character and interaction to have such wonky and unpolished movements. It just feels like a good few extra months should be used between episodes. Takes longer, but makes for a much better experience. Even telltale are aware of it. So it's not like i'm pulling it out my ass. They're getting better though, just not at a quick enough pace imo. I realise the games are cheap, but that doesn't really mean i want them to FEEL cheap.
It wouldn't win any awards in animation, but it doesn't ruin the experience or appearance. I don't know what it looks like on other devices but it was fine on PC. I'd be fine with TWD S2 being exactly more of the same but with new content.

Totally agree with you on this. I was skeptical about the game entirely but ended up really loving it. However I will never get over how horrible and unpolished the game feels. Jerky animations, horrible kinematics and controls were not very smooth. Characters, story, writing great. Art pretty solid. Animations were garbage. Lack of polish really keeps me from having any real loyalty or excitement from future Telltale games.
