It doesnt look particularly spectacular from those images, mcrae looked better...I guess if its open racing like the real paris dakar it could offer something new.

Motorstorm?

Open racing would be great. There was even once a "dakar-like" game announced that would provide huge open areas with multiplayer support. just can't remember the name of it.

But on all these tiny screens above you can clearly see tracks... so it doesn't look like it will provide really open racing.

There was a trailer for this in 2007's E3 i think, or whatever it was. It showed a bunch of buggies driving across a huge desert, looked amazing.

On Eurogamer it says that this features laps, and other configuarations of racing, where a race could take up to 4 hours. They have made some massive area of land for it all to take place on, so I guess it could be a full on open road adventure - the only thing that breaks this is that its only 12 players online.

One day, there will be a giant version of motorstorm, that allows 100 simultanious players, that day will be a good day! it will be like mad max come to life.

I'm stuck on the name...i mean, it could be translated to asshole or poop in swedish, basically. Lol.

Otherwise it looks a lot like motorstorm if you ask me. The road looks a bit crappier, but over all i think it's similar.

looks more like DiRT or that crappy MX vs ATV game that came out a while ago. looks nothing like the crazy OTT motorstorm imo. and motorstorm - the crazy = one dull ass game.

Well, doesn't look bad at all, but those offroad racers should not come in hordes. Pure, Motorstorm2, ATV vs MAX... hope it wont become a genre like first person shooters...
The landscapes and tracks in this game look good, but I hope there won't just be sand and dunes!! Seen enough of that in Motorstorm1 ^^

Just wait for GT5 Prologue Full, Motorstorm 2 and GRID - that's all you need really! :)p
