Timeshift images

Atari released the Fan Site Kit for TimeShift today, and it contained 22 new images. Every Xbox 360 screenshot released earlier have also been in 4:3 resolution, so they could be from either the PC or the Xbox 360 version. A demo is supposed to become available on the Market Place in around a month.

gun models look pretty weak and the whole premise of the game smacks of gimmick but I'm willing to have my opinion changed when it's released

Looks great and after reading the preview in the latest OXM I'd say it looks very promising.

In an interview they said the time control feature is a gameplay based feature and not a tacked on feature like dual wielding in Halo 2.

On a video interview with someone working on this game over at gametrailers.com he said that there will be a demo next month (i think its next month) on pc and xbox live :)

Can't wait to try this one out! Looks cool. Wonder what they'll do with the MP!

These sceens look horrible, it looks so much better in motion.

WTF is up with the guns? The characters look like my son's Lego figures. The best thing I can say about this game is that it has vibrant colors. Not sure of the target audience neither.

in EGM they said there is also an Xbox version. maybe these are cleaned up Xbox shots.

I remember reading that somewhere, I have a hard time believing it. I like to think I'm fairly open minded though so when the game comes out, or a satisfactory demo, I'll judge then.

it looks horrible, especially in motion. stop time, how original

LOL? Do you really think the Xbox can do this?

It looks aweful graphically.

These are most likely PC shots, as the news post stated, whereas the 360 version should be identical minus some higher resolutions.

Doesn't look that good, but I'd say it doesn't really matter, cause it's gameplay seems to be very interesting.

Hmm I have different feelings about this game. Some screens look really good very nex-tgen but some screens i'm looking at and think WTF is this suppose to be next-gen?

Example about what i think isn't called next-gen:
http://images.xboxyde.com/gallery/public/2523/722_... i mean look at that guy standind there he looks badly rendered i can see the pixels on his head and stuff. I hope the demo will confince me 100% because at this moment i dont know what to think.

im a little bit dissapointed of the graphic power of the Xbox 360 at this times... it looks more like the grafik of a powerful old xbox

Wow. Not shy of the gore (pic 18).

It's weird. Some of those look really good. While others look like year 2001 PC games. And equally, some of the character models are horrendously low polly (pic 2) and others look awesome.

I wish they would say which version and build each of these shots came from.

Gameplay certainly looks interesting. And some of the time-affected effects look awesome. one to watch i'd say, if slightly cautiously.

I swear you guys are blind Xbox could not do anything close to this.
Commented on 2006-01-13 21:47:20
I'll take my chance and say these images are actually from the PC version
Commented on 2006-01-13 21:49:05
yeah, thats the problem with screenshots.. like someone said that he can see the pixels on the soldiers head.. i think u wont really notice it in motion and the game has some time to be completed
Commented on 2006-01-13 23:09:37
People are becoming more and more ridiculous what is with this trolling claiming this looks like something the xbox can do when people know NONE of this can be done on current gen....

Gun models weak? suuure and again why are people trying to downtalk the graphical power of the 360? The 360 has far more graphical power than the ps3 and if a game isn't as impressive as it should be thats the developers fault not the 360s.

Again stop judging so harshly based on just screenshots even the fight night round 3 screens made the game look bad.

DO NOT start/continue a PS3 vs. 360 debate in this thread, please.
