Looks good, but the 360 can do far much more. Really show off the 360s power I want to see some amazingly detailed environments.

I'll be glad when the current generation is over and devs are working solely on 360/PS3. I mean it looks okay but they aren't going to be pushing physics, AI or shaders to their full potential until that day.

looks mainly good but the rope or whaterver it is in the 6th image looks terribly
and they overdone bump mapping too much which i hate

Ugh someone call the bump mapping police!
Only good thing are lara's textures, her legs look great! (8th pic)

wrong thread. I'm looking forward to Tomb Raider though. Hope this one lives up to the feelings I got playing the original.

Looks good and crap at the same time. It still pwns all the previous version of the game and I am a Lara fanboy so I am happy. The gameplay and other elements are what really have me excited about this game.

its actually View Displacement Parallax Mapping that stands out,.. it's not just plain old bump mapping,... and i don't think i will ever see a game over use VDM Parallax worse thatn PDZ did,... every texture in the game has VDM Parallax applied and makes the entire game look like it was plastic-wrapped in photoshop

What's with the camel toe shot in screen 8!! hah hah

Must admit not particulary liking the look of this game, but it's early days I suppose. For me personally, lara looks too young! Looks almost like a teenager!

Looks nice, will probably get this one.

Hopefully it will bring back more of the puzzle elements which made the first one so good.

i think it looks pretty good, and the bump mapping is crucial for those enviornments.

The very first TR was good, if a bit over-hyped, followed by the endless boredom of the next ones, and the tragedy of a game that was the last one.

We can only hope that this will miraculously be better…
(Yeah, right.)

I thought it was the misuse of specular mapping that made the particular "celophane" look, in some games.
It could be useful when overdone (like for slimey or wet stuff) but yeah, it seemed overdone in PDZ.
