i'd get alot more exited for this if it actually looked better. We're in a graphics whore generation.. sub par animation, level design, and textures, simply wont cut it.

The level up tree looks interesting.. and alot more accessable than Mass effects, but the gameplay itself seems old and tired even before its been released.

I cant help but have the feeling that this will be the 360's lair

I'm still willing to give it a fair shot. Demo + reviews will probably make this decision for me.

The situation is completely opposite, though. Lair had stunning graphics and was hyped to high heaven- it sucked. Too Human has less-than-stellar graphics and isn't really being hyped at all, so odds are the rest of the game has received the most attention from the developers (like the story and gameplay). When you add to the equation Silicon Knights' track record, it's more than likely this game will turn out good. It just wont be something you use to demonstrate your new HDTV with.

Graphics junkies... sheesh... this is quite a complex game. I look forward to seeing what they do with it.

I honestly don't see the problem with the graphics ... They look absolutely fine to me.

Saying that, I doubt i'll actually get this game as there are others above it on my wanted list.

If the demo is fun and the reviews are good, i'll probably rent it.

my only concern on this game is the action controls. i'll rent it first to make sure i'm comfortable, but i can definitely see myself buying this if it plays well enough.

i didn't expect to be in the minority, but i like the game graphically. some of the creature designs are uninspired, but overall the game looks quite polished.

Too Humans had planty of marketing behind it during its time on the 360.. dont forget that we've been through this merry-go-round before when it was supposed to be released last year. Constant trailers were put out, interviews given, demo's promised before the years end, countless previews written up ect ect.. the games probably had more attention shown at it from the gaming press than any other game.. it just doesnt seem like it because of the constant false starts with the build ups.

Also dont forget how the developers of Lair would use words like "innovative" in relation to the games controls.. Just as silcon Knights have in order to defend their programming choices.

It may yet work.. but this is a game that will survive on its demo alone.

Thats what they said about Two worlds.

It can have the most depth a games ever seen, it can have an oscar winning story (although the voice actings pretty damn wooden..have you seen the new trailers on GT?). But if it fails to impress graphically then very few will invest in it... as, especially with this generation, theres no denieing the importance of graphics.
