Torino 06: Images & trailer

Torino 06: Images & trailer

2K Games released the first trailer of the official Olympic Winter Games game (game game game). I also added some images which were released earlier this week. Looks great (for an this-gen game), and it's nice to see an official Olympics game without any console exclusivity.

There's this thing called a market for casual gamers.

The only Olympic game that has ever been good was Track and Field on NES. I can't remember one that was good after that. I had Nagano Winter Olympics on the N64 and it was just about the worst thing I've ever played.

Athlete Kings is the best I can recall, that game was awesome.

I thought Nagano was okey. Most of the "sports" in it sucked, but there were some stuff which were fun multiplayer, the "fast-skating" for example.

so thoughtful of you to speak for all of us, but I'll do just fine for myself, thanks.

I remember a really nice Winter Olympics game on the Sega Saturn.

Even worse than Superman 64? :)

I used to play one on the PS1 where it was all about tapping two buttons as fast as you could to succeed

I loved the winter olympics games on the Saturn back in the day. Here's hoping this could actually be good.

Yea the Athletic Kings and Winter Heat for Saturn ruled. About this game is that for the Xbox 360, because the graphics looking pretty average, looks like a pc game and not next gen.

I think it's probably a good idea to make it more obvious which format the news concerns. I know the Xbox logo means Xbox and the 360 logo means 360, but it's clearly still a bit too vague for some people.

We _MUST_ have an winter olympic Track & Field in Xbox Live Arcade in time for the winter olympics, they must create one. :D

I don't think it would make the blindest bit of difference, people don't read the comments or look at the logos anyway, they just look at the pictures! :)

Maybe a legend above the news posts would help, or we could have new icons, which are larger and incorporate the words "Xbox" and "Xbox360"

Anyone want to try their hand at it?
(I think I'll try something).

I loved Nagano Winter Olympics for the N64. Had so many different game modes to play. This game looks fun

Take Two should get the NHL team to do the hockey and the Amped team to do the skiing and snowboarding. It'd be cool to get a really great olympics game.
