Trailer of 50 Cent II

THQ has taken over the publishing rights for 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, and here is the first trailer from them. The game features online co-op and is planned to be released early next year.

(NASDAQ: THQI) today announced the acquisition of the publishing rights for 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. The highly anticipated sequel to the multi-million unit selling title 50 Cent: Bulletproof, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand will put gamers in the role of world famous hip hop artist 50 Cent as he, and members of G-Unit, battle their way across two war-torn countries on a mission to collect payment from a crime cartel boss. 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is currently scheduled for worldwide release in early 2009, featuring run and gun shooter game play, brawler style combat, online co-op and eighteen exclusive new 50 Cent tracks.

this actually doesnt look that bad. yeah its a rediculous concept and the the inclusion of 50 cent is just a marketing ploy, but i think if you stripped that away not half as many people would be complaiing about the title. as long as it plays well i honestly couldnt care less who the main character is, BUT i will NOT be buy the game purely BECAUSE its 50 cent, whereas most of the people interested in the game will do...just like the first. selling on 50's name alone.

:P 50 cent might not be a good lyricist(?) but his beats and most of his early songs are fucking awesome. but now he is just a sell out but still produces some good songs now and again

The game in itself will probably prove decent, most games released now days are, but the whole concept of some hip hop star in the freaking middle east looking for some skull? The whole idea sucks donkey ass. You'd have to be a retarded monkey (or 5 years old) to think that's cool :P

If you want to use famous people in games, at least put them in there for some freaking reason. Like...wtf do i know, rap hero world tour? :P

This kind of thing makes me laugh. All these rappers who think they are so tough and "badass" and could take on an army while swinging two guns.......ha ha ha....please!

50 cent now in iraq hahahahahaha how ridiculous can it get. When they announced that they were going to do a 50 cent game a couple of years ago (the first one) i laughed, then when they announced the title bulletproof i laughed even more.

I like how they forgot to texture the shotgun in the last picture in the trailer there, what with all the logos and stuff. Or how they were too lazy to change his open hand into a fist when hitting that guy, also towards the end of the trailer.

I hope they're not taking themselves too seriously with the whole "In a world he didn't know...". It sounds so ridiculous that it's either brilliant or the most painful to watch trailer ever. Also.. 50 sounds like a retard with a speaking disability.

GriftGFX Me too, but I found quite a few events in MW pretty exciting too. I think my biggest complaint is that any given car runs out of stuff to do as soon as you max it out. (35 minutes ago)
