Funcom today announced that Warner Music will release a 2-CD-album for Aspyrs adventure game Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, which will be released next week on Xbox. They also released this trailer, showing some gameplay sequences while some of the album songs are being played.

From the way games are headed, they might make an xbox360 version..which you would have to pay extra £10 or so to enjoy..

Guess now we know why microsoft stuck to no true BC.."rank in the money boys.."

Just wait until an update comes in the Xboxlive for download..i'm sure it will become playable in xbox360 then..you just have to wait..even games like tomb raider..i'm sure in a few months an update will arrive and you can play your xbox copy.

The game looks great..i've been following this game for a while.

100% pc version for me.

Saw both vers at E3 last year and the highres on the pc beats the xbox by far. From Ragnars Blog he mentions that its up to MS if the xbox ver will work on the 360...

They've also made a lot of improvements to the Xbox version since E3. If you follow Ragnar's blog, then you've probably seen a few entries where he talked about that and how the Xbox version was getting surprisingly close to the PC version. I'd like to see some direct comparisons, though. I think I've only seen PC screens and videos so far.

Splicer, they've made it clear that there will not be a 360 version of Dreamfall. It would be nice if it makes the BC list, but I'll probably be done with the game by then. ;)

Yeah kinda, in the sense that it's an evolved version of a point-and-click adventure with more emphasis on realtime interaction and actual 3d worlds.

A big difference, though, is that in Dreamfall you'll actually have direct control over your character when you get into combat, rather than that minigame that Fahrenheit had. And in some cases, if you don't want to fight somebody, it might also be possible to avoid them or reason with them in order to get what you need.

I don't see why new adventure games always have to have the main player a chick, Indego Prophecy was brilliant this looks so so. I will check it out though because I do love adventure games :D

Ahh I can't wait for this one. I absolutely loved TLJ, it ranks up as one of my all time favourite adventure games. I hope this one will be all lengthy and epic just like the first. I have no doubt that it will be an amazing game.

Because if it was a man, he would just want to solve all his problems by killing everything. And then it would be an action game.

Joking aside, April Ryan, Kate Walker, Carla Velenti... those were all great characters. And I'm sure Zoe will be another.

She was the main character in The Longest Journey. She's in Dreamfall, too. The girl on the cover who's not Zoe.
