SEGA shows some classical levels from the Mega Drive/Genesis era of Sonic. Sonic Generations will be released in November on Xbox 360 and PS3.

30fps = fail.

More than pretty much any other series, Sonic needs 60fps. 30fps is a headache inducing flicker-fest. Sega, you have failed yet again.

Why don't you try watching this video on your Xbox 360 or PS3, that will give you a better idea of how it will look almost like on your tv and console.

30 frames is still a high frame rate, 60 frames would imply alot more raw power that the current gen consoles just do not have and there are not that many mascot based platformers out there running at 60 frames per second so no its not a fail.

I totally agree, but did you actually watch the trailer? It's in 60fps so it looks like they've fixed the framerate since the demo! :D

They're easily capable of 60fps with these graphics, especially the 2D (view) levels. But it looks like they've incresed the frame rate to 60fps anyway so it doesn't matter.
